As a sensitive and introvert, I spent a lot of my life looking for things outside of myself in order to feel complete and successful.
In a lot of ways, we’re programmed to be this way:
- we want to be ‘good’ for our parents
- we want a ‘gold star’ at school by pleasing our teachers
Where do we learn about how to measure our own success and feel like we’re ‘enough’ in and of ourselves?
Meditation is one way I’ve been able to find this balance, and this phrase is one of my favorite mantras.
